Edgeview Partners is pleased to announce the sale of HD Supply Canada’s SESCO/QUESCO Division to Sonepar Canada, a leading Canadian electrical distributor, providing service to residential, commercial, industrial and specialty business customers.

Edgeview served as the exclusive financial advisor to Atlanta, Georgia-based HD Supply, the parent company of HD Supply Canada and the SESCO/QUESCO Division, during the sale.  In the transaction, Sonepar Canada acquired substantially all of the assets of SESCO/QUESCO.  Details of the transaction, which closed on February 27, were not disclosed.

SESCO/QUESCO provides business customers a complete line of electrical and lighting products – offering major brands from leading manufacturers.  While focused mostly on commercial, residential and institutional markets, SESCO/QUESCO has been continually growing in the industrial and OEM sectors.  SESCO/QUESCO currently employs over 70 associates, operating out of five branches in the greater Toronto area and serving over 1,000 customers.  SESCO/QUESCO’s highly-skilled staff provides value-added solutions, such as project management, technical advice and warehouse management, designed to help customers be more profitable.  SESCO/QUESCO’s merchandise also includes various environmentally friendly and energy efficient products.
