Edgeview Partners is pleased to announce the sale of DistTech, Inc., a leading provider of specialized freight and logistics solutions primarily for the chemical industry, to The Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. (KAG).  Based in North Canton, Ohio, KAG is North America’s largest bulk transportation and logistics provider to the petroleum and specialty products industries.  Edgeview Partners was retained as the exclusive financial advisor to DistTech. 

Details of the transaction, which closed on Wednesday, September 29, were not disclosed.

DistTech, Inc., headquartered in Newbury, Ohio, is a leading, information-driven provider of asset and non-asset transportation solutions for the chemical industry and other industries requiring bulk liquid transportation.  The Company serves a broad range of leading chemical manufacturers on a dedicated contract and common carriage basis.  The Company utilizes over 400 tractors and 750 trailers that serve customer facilities in 48 states and Canada.  DistTech serves as a valuable partner to chemical manufacturers who require specialized hauling equipment and unique delivery specifications.
