Edgeview Partners is pleased to announce the sale of leading car care franchisor Express Oil Change & Service Center to Thompson Street Capital Partners of St. Louis, Missouri.

Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Express Oil owns, operates and franchises the preeminent chain of total car care solutions in the United States and has offered the fastest, most convenient oil change in the automotive aftermarket along with a full line of comprehensive repair and maintenance services for over 30 years.  The Company has a growing chain of company-owned and franchised locations that provide customers with a total car care experience.  It was formerly a portfolio company of Charlotte-based Carousel Capital, which retained Edgeview Partners LLC to serve as exclusive financial advisor in the sale of the company.

Details of the transaction, which closed on Monday, June 28, were not disclosed.
